The 8th Parliament is now in session, and former National Assembly Speaker Professor Peter Katjavivi shared his thoughts on what new MPs should focus on.

Katjavivi expressed himself during an interview on the nbc programme, 'Inside the Chambers'.

Residents in the Goreangab settlement in Windhoek have taken it on themselves to cover up potholes in Eveline Street. 

The volunteers say that although it is not an easy job, it provides them with some income, which enables them to put food on their tables.

A group of people from the Blouwes Community are demanding answers from the Office of the ||Kharas Governor, Aletha Fredericks, regarding grievances they lodged against the Blouwes Traditional Authority. 

The Namibian government has allocated more than N$500 million towards the formalisation of informal settlements.

The formalisation process, which will start in Windhoek as soon as possible, is expected to be rolled out to other local authorities around the country.
