Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Land Reform Minister Inge Zaamwani has encouraged UNAM to continue developing new technologies and sustainable farming practices and to transfer knowledge to farmers to improve productivity.

Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema said the abrupt cut in health support by donors is painful but long overdue.

Hichilema, however, said his government will enhance its partnership with the church that has been running mission hospitals on the continent.

The Kavango West Regional Council has dispatched a team to visit all council-funded projects across the region to assess their progress.
