In a call to action, the National Road Safety Council of Namibia (NRSC) has launched a transformative campaign aimed at eradicating road fatalities and injuries.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah will be launching the 6th National Development Plan (NDP6) on Monday. 

600 temporary workers at Hangana Seafood have officially submitted a petition to management claiming discrimination and unfair labour practices.

Many of these workers say they have been on temporary contracts since 2018 and now seek permanent jobs. 

The Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture, Dino Ballotti, has urged entrepreneurs to legitimise their businesses.

Ballotti said this during the Heritage and Cultural Entrepreneurship workshop hosted by the ministry at Swakopmund.

Fish stocks in the two Kavango regions have been dropping in recent years. 

This has not only affected livelihoods but has also increased incidences of human-wildlife conflict.
