Notable Namibians, including the Deputy Prime Minister, John Mutorwa, were conferred national honours, during the investiture ceremony at State House.

President Nangolo Mbumba conferred the awards on the honorees.

Namibians who have exhibited dedication to quality service delivery to their citizens were also recognized.

These individuals have further maintained a high level of integrity in various fields.

The Namibian Correctional Service (NCS) has officially launched Community Service Orders (CSOs) at the Rehoboth Magistrate's Court, offering an alternative to traditional imprisonment for non-serious offenders. 

The dream to own a decent house for shack dwellers at Aus Settlement in the ||Kharas Region is drawing close to reality. 

Ten low-cost houses are being built at the settlement under the Shack Dwellers Federation housing scheme. 

The residents of Napengu in the Zambezi Region have appealed to the Minister of Mines and Energy, Tom Alweendo, to provide electricity to their area.

The minister visited Napengu, which has 300 households.
