The body of a villager from Nongozi was retrieved from a swamp in the Nkasa-Rupara National Park in the Zambezi Region on Tuesday. 

The 29-year-old  Samupwa Lubinda's body was already in a state of early decomposition when it was retrieved. 

One of the oldest historic buildings in Windhoek, the Alte Feste in the city centre, will be renovated and turned into an art, craft, and heritage centre.

The initiative by the Namibia Craft Centre and the Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture aims to revitalise the historic building.

Final preparations for the tabling of the long-awaited Investment Promotion Bill in the National Assembly are in full swing.

The Minister of Industrialisation and Trade, Lucia Iipumbu, says the Bill and accompanying regulations and policies will be tabled during the second quarter of the year.

The domestic economy is expected to expand by 3.7% in 2024 and is forecast to further grow by 4.1% in 2025, indicating a positive trajectory for the country's economic landscape.
