A 25-year-old wheelchair-bound woman, Saimi Nuuyoma, who graduated in basic computer and office administration among the 80 graduates of the African Counsellors Social Development Association (ACSDA), says it's never too late or, in some cases, too early to become whoever you want to be.

The African Counsellors Social Development Association (ACSDA), a non-profit organisation, hosted its first graduation ceremony for about 80 graduates, all survivors from the Otweya fire in Narraville who were evicted with other vulnerable members of the Walvis Bay community.

679 cases of suicide have been reported in Namibia since last year, of which 82% were men.

The Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Kalumbi Shangula, stated that the suicide rate among men is high because men are discouraged from seeking help because they are often labelled as weak.

There is a shortfall of about N$600 million to implement the Namibian government's drought relief programme.

Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila says the Disaster Risk Fund under her office only has about N$200 million, while the whole programme needs funding of up to N$800 million.
