Christmas came early for children living with cerebral palsy and their caregivers in Otjiwarongo, as the Omake Charity Organisation distributed food hampers valued at more than N$30,000 in partnership with FNB.
Otjimuhaka Primary School, situated on the outskirts of Opuwo in the Kunene Region, has taken the initiative to conduct door-to-door campaigns to encourage parents to enrol their children for the academic year.
The Minister of Works and Transport, Veikko Nekundi, said the government will continue upgrading the nation’s road network, both in urban centres and remote rural areas.
Nekundi emphasised that good roads are lifelines that connect communities to health care, education, and other essential services.
Henties Bay took a step forward in its economic and social development with the official opening of a new open market, taxi rank, low-cost housing, and the unveiling of the town’s first traffic lights.
