The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and Namibia Press Agency (Nampa) have signed a memorandum of understanding with the two Angolan public media houses in Luanda, Angola, today.

Angola has offered to assist Namibia in setting up a public data centre.

The Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, visited the public data centre in Luanda, Angola, under the National Institute for the Promotion of the Information Society – INFOSI.

A case of culpable homicide and reckless driving has been registered at the Rundu police station.

The incident occurred last night at around 19:30 in the Sauyemwa area near the Hilka Park location on the Rundu-Nkurenkuru main road in the Kavango East Region.

People with albinism often face challenges in various areas such as education and employment due to social attitudes and a lack of awareness. 

Discrimination and prejudice are common, as some individuals encounter negative attitudes from employers who fail to respect the rights of people with albinism.

India donated 1,000 metric tonnes of rice and maize towards Namibia's drought relief programme.

This is in support of Namibia's efforts to achieve food security, reduce poverty, and enhance the quality of life for all citizens.
