Hundreds of graduates of the Namibian College of Open Learning celebrated their academic excellence when they received certificates, diplomas and degrees during its 25th graduation ceremony in Windhoek.

A power outage struck Canchana Village in the Kavango West Region, disrupting water supply to Raina Mungungu Combined School and the entire community. 

This has been ongoing since last month.

The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism has clarified how Namibia's natural or biological resources should be accessed and used. 

The president of the Namibian Association of Local Authority Officials (NALAO), Moses Matyayi, says local authorities cannot thrive in uncertainty and political pressure.

Matyayi, who was speaking at the association's annual general meeting, stressed the need for accountability and transparency.
