The Namibian Correctional Service (NCS) is on course with the establishment of infrastructure at Katima Mulilo-Liselo farm in the Zambezi Region. 

The First National Bank of Namibia donated 800 mosquito nets to expectant mothers in the Zambezi Region to support efforts in the fight against malaria.

Zambezi Health Director Woita Kampuburu welcomed the gesture.

Minister of Works and Transport Veikko Nekundi has announced the closure of the Oranjemund-Rosh Pinah road after water from the Orange River crept up to the road surface, posing a serious safety risk.

The Ministry of Works and Transport is undertaking the construction of the Okatana-Amutanga-Omulathitu-Onamime gravel road.

The gravel road will enable surrounding communities access to health care services and education facilities, especially during the rainy season.
