International Training College Lingua has signed a collaborative agreement with the Rehoboth Town Council to advance education and community development in the town.

Officials from the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture held a youth consultation session in the Tsumkwe Constituency to listen to the challenges faced by young people and explore possible development opportunities.

Vice-President Lucia Witbooi has called on young people to be bold, consistent, and disciplined in their pursuit of knowledge and skills, describing education as the most effective weapon against poverty.

Young people have gathered at the Captain Reverend Dr. Hendrik Witbooi Primary School in Gibeon, located in the Hardap Region, for the launch of the third round of TVET scholarship applications for youth from the Hardap and ||Kharas regions.

 A local Omaheke farmer and two other benefactors donated safety boots to six needy COSDEC trainees at Gobabis.

The donation follows COSDEC Omaheke reaching out for assistance for trainees at the centre who lacked safety boots. 

Speaking on behalf of the donors was Sarah |Goagoses.

The Vice President, Lucia Witbooi, urged young people to respect and be proud of their roots.

She made the remarks during the preliminary competition for Miss Non-Governmental Organisation Namibia in the capital.

More than 3,000 learners in the |Khomas Region are set to benefit from a three-day information and career guidance event. 

The Landless People's Movement (LPM) leader, Bernadus Swartbooi, has urged young people to become the drivers of change in society. 

Swartbooi made the call at the celebration of the party's youth command element at Youth Day at Keetmanshoop. 

Over 1,000 young people gathered in Rundu this week to register for training in various fields.

The initiative is part of a programme offered by Ezze Training Centre, in collaboration with the Division for Gender and Child Welfare and other stakeholders, currently running in all regions.

Young people in the remote village of Kamanjab continue to face significant challenges, such as limited access to quality education, high unemployment, and a lack of recreational facilities.
