EXILE KIDS ASSOCIATION AFFILIATES WITH SWAPO

The Namibia Exile Kids Association is now affiliated with the SWAPO Party. 

Its president, Kadiva Hamutumwa, announced this during the association's Central Committee Meeting.

The association was established to oversee the welfare of children born in exile.

Namibia Correctional Services Commissioner General Raphael Hamunyela has emphasised that the institution is hard at work to bridge the skills gap between new intakes in key positions and top officials.

The aim is to equip officials with skills to improve administration and rehabilitation programmes.

The Business and Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA) registered over 13,000 new business entities in 2025. 

This has expanded the business register to more than two hundred and forty-two registered entities.

The Ministry of Health and Social Services has commenced with investigations of sanitary towels reportedly infused with chemicals.

This follows a study by the University of the Free State in South Africa that found some products that may contain toxic substances linked to possible health risks for women.
