Kavango East Regional Governor Bonifatius Wakudumo also shared developments made in the health sector. 

Wakudumo shared these during the State of the Region Address in Rundu.

The Kavango East Region still calls for school infrastructure development despite progress recorded to improve teaching and learning. 

This was brought to light by the Governor of Kavango East, Bonifatius Wakudumo, during the State of the Region Address at Rundu. 

A lack of national documents may have led to the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) not meeting its target in the Kavango East and West regions.

This was said by the interim president of the Action Democratic Movement (ADM), Kanyetu Kanyetu, at a media briefing at Rundu. 

Governor of Kavango West Region Sirkka Ausiku has expressed her appreciation for institutions of higher learning set up in the region.

Three years after capital projects were approved for the Kavango East by Parliament, the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade still has little to show for it.

A water crisis continues to plague residents of various informal settlements in Rundu, Kavango East Region. 

The latest to cry over the lack of this resource are residents of the Tumweneni informal settlement, who claim to have been without water since March last year. 

Kavango East Region has so far recorded 15 mortalities due to malnutrition.

The Swapo Party Youth League held a question-and-answer session with the Vice President and party presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, at Rundu. 

The session provided a platform for the youth to express their thoughts, concerns, and aspirations.

The Kavango East and West Regions Health Directorate and Angola's Cuando Cubango Province held a three-day cross-border meeting at Rundu. 

The meeting was aimed at strengthening the corporation and sharing ideas on how to prevent cross-border diseases. 

Vice President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah gave assurance to the residents of Nkurenkuru that plans to complete the hospital are still on.

The hospital, whose groundbreaking happened 10 years ago, remains standing still.
