Namibia's and South Africa's national research entities have signed a five-year partnership looking at addressing shared priorities in energy, digital health, agro-food systems, and space science.

The University of Namibia (UNAM) has received research grants to enhance research on food and water security, health, and climate change adaptation from the National Commission on Research, Science, and Technology (NCRST).

There is a need for Namibia to step up and develop a system to translate the Namibian languages on the web.

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Commission on Research, Science, and Technology, Anicia Peters, said this at the National Science Fair Week.
