The Ratepayers Association, formerly known as the Katutura Residents Committee, has updated the community on the ongoing legal battle with the City of Windhoek. 

The City of Windhoek is warning residents to be cautious of scammers posing as municipal officials and asking for money from them. 

The individuals contact residents, claiming they must immediately pay if they do not want their municipal services disconnected.

Walvis Bay Mayor Trevino Forbes is calling on the business community, as well as those in the education, police, hospitals, and religious sectors, to assist the council in bringing much-needed services closer to residents of Farm 37.
