The NAMCOR corruption case was postponed to the 1st of August for the continuation of bail proceedings.

Jennifer Hamukwaya, a former finance executive at NAMCOR, testified at the Windhoek Magistrate's Court on Friday. 

Hamukwaya is among the eight accused people seeking to be released on bail.

Defence lawyer Sisa Namandje concluded his case in the bail application of Malakia Elindi, his wife Lydia, and brother Peter Elindi, who are accused of fraud, money laundering, and other charges in connection with the NAMCOR fuel supply deal. 

The state has outlined the money trail of N$9 million allegedly distributed among several individuals following a $53 million payment by NAMCOR to Enercon for the purchase of nine fuel stations.

The long-running feud between Immanuel Mulunga and his employer NAMCOR finally came to an end with the MD's dismissal.

Mulunga's dismissal on different charges follows his acquittal at a disciplinary hearing on another set of allegations.
