The Rehoboth Town Council has expressed its commitment to serving the community despite challenges by prioritising road infrastructure, investment, and basic services.

The town, located some 80 kilometres south of Windhoek, has about 70,000 inhabitants. 

Residents of the Kehemu Informal Settlement in Rundu have called on the town council to consider improving the road infrastructure.

They say the bad roads are limiting their day-to-day activities and negatively affecting their businesses.
