The Governor of the ||Kharas Region, Dawid Gertze, has urged Komsberg fire survivors to be part of the solution in preventing future fire incidents.

A fire that broke out at the Omutambo Womawe state quarantine camp in Uutsathima village, Omusati Region, has been successfully contained.

Since the beginning of this year, Swakopmund has reported 22 fire incidents, primarily affecting shacks.
