United States (US) President Donald Trump says his administration will "permanently pause" migration from all countries to allow the United States to fully recover.

U.S. President Donald Trump has added a 30% tariff charge on all South African products, effective from 1st August.

President Trump, in a letter to his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa, stated that the 30% is separate from all sectoral tariffs.

China has announced that it would impose 84-percent tariffs on goods it imports from the USA.
