Minister of Urban and Rural Development, James Sankwasa, said the absence of a stormwater drainage system is an emergency that poses a danger to Rundu residents.

Sankwasa emphasised that immediate action is needed, as there are only three months left before the rainy season begins.

Heavy rains received on Saturday have left many houses surrounded by water at the Ehenye residential area in Oshakati, Oshana Region.
