President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has called for mutual trust and benefit in the oil sector with investors. Dr. Nandi Ndaitwah made the call during the courtesy visit by the Executive Vice President, for Exploration, Strategy and Portfolio for Integrated Gas and Upstream at Shell, Eugene Okpere.

Swakop Uranium says it stands ready to support Namibia should the government go ahead and establish a nuclear power plant locally. 

The company's management, led by Chief Executive Officer Luo Wei, paid a courtesy visit on President Nandi-Ndaitwah at State House.

The National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR) is making progress with detailed post-well studies.

These studies involve analysing core samples, logging data, and fluid samples gathered from the Venus wells.
