The Zambian government and the family of former President Edgar Lungu will appear before the Pretoria High Court tomorrow to determine custody of his remains.

The family of the late former Zambian President Edgar Lungu has asked the Supreme Court of Appeal to overturn the Pretoria High Court decision to deny them permission to appeal against the earlier lower court ruling over the repatriation of the body.

Dr. Job Amupanda, who is leading a legal battle to dismantle the controversial Red Line, has raised concerns over a potential conflict of interest involving the presiding judge in the case, Judge Shafimana Ueitele.
