Burkina Faso has introduced military cadet uniforms made from traditional handwoven fabric, blending national service with the country's rich cultural heritage.

The Senior Command and Staff Course hosted African Heritage Day at the Namibia Command and Staff College in Okahandja over the weekend.

This marks the second commemoration of the day in the military-academic programme's course calendar.
