Two women died after consuming a concoction that would allegedly rid them of evil spirits and remove bad luck.

A group of women from Elombe Village received a one-day jam-making training at Ongwediva offered by officials from the Urban and Rural Development Ministry.

About 16 young women from the Kavango East Region completed their training in tailoring through the Dreams program.

The graduates also received toolkits comprising of sewing machines, materials, and ironing boards to start their own businesses.

37 youth and 67 women's organizations have received loans of more than N$12 million from Agribank in the Kavango West and East regions.
