A local company, Do Mar Fishing, is expected to construct a logistics hub at Walvis Bay at a cost of N$25 million.

Established in 2017 by Tsumeb resident Antonio Rodriques, Dor Mar Fishing held a ground-breaking ceremony to announce plans for the construction.

Public to start paying entrance fee at Dune 7

As of next month, the public will be required to pay an entrance fee at Dune 7, a popular tourist attraction near Walvis Bay.

This is according to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism Public Relations Officer, who says the funds are needed to maintain the tourism facilities at the site.
