Ministry outlines plans to reduce education sector unemployment

The Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts and Culture has outlined strategic initiatives to curb the high unemployment rate in the education sector.

This is in response to the acknowledgement of a petition submitted to the Ministry by unemployed graduate teachers last month.

First phase of Nkurenkuru Youth Resource Centre completed

The first phase of the construction of the Nkurenkuru Multipurpose Youth Resource Centre, which started in June last year, has been completed.

An amount of N$10 million was allocated for Phase 1A of the centre, which covered the feasibility studies, design, documentation, and layout.
