President Nangolo Mbumba has extended well wishes to former President Hifikepunye Pohamba, who turned 89 today.

Former President Hifikepunye Pohamba expressed satisfaction with the progress made in the construction and upgrading of the Windhoek-Hosea Kutako International Airport dual carriageway, a project that was initiated during his presidency before leaving office.

President Nangolo Mbumba has vowed to serve all the people of Namibia with the utmost dedication and commitment. He undertakes to continue building on the excellent foundation established by Presidents Sam Nujoma, Hifikepunye Pohamba, and Geingob.

Well-known medical doctor, Naftal Hamata, was buried at the Eenhana Memorial Shrine in Ohangwena Region.

Mourners first flocked to the Ongwediva Trade Fair Centers for his memorial service on Friday.
