President Hage Geingob left for Egypt on Sunday to attend the 27th Conference of the Parties (COP27). The conference, which will take place in Sharm el-Sheikh from the 6th to the 18th of November, will push leaders to commit to achieving a zero-carbon future for all.

Namibia raises N$1. 2 million towards the UN's COP27 conference participation

A total of N$1.2 million was raised for the COP27 conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

The conference will take place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from November 6–18.
