Former Miss Universe Michelle McLean-Bailey has extended Africa Day wishes to Namibians, dedicating the special occasion to Namibia’s first female President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, whom she describes as her inspiration.

In a message, McLean-Bailey said, “She has been the most inspirational woman in my life, one of only five African women presidents on the entire continent. I look forward to her guidance and wisdom for many, many years to come.”

Celebrating both the President and the nation, she added, “I celebrate you today, and I celebrate all the youth and all the people in Namibia. We are Africans; we have to stand together, support our continent, and support Namibia.”
