The Khomasdal Constituency office had to stop the application and vetting process for potential beneficiaries of income-generating grants due to alleged discrepancies.
Khomasdal Constituency Councillor Wayne Sissing said the process, which was halted after some members of the community raised the red flag on it, will be restarted to make it fair to all applicants.
Sissing said he intervened after receiving calls from community members who claimed that some applicants had skipped the queue.
Officials were also accused of skipping applicants when handing out forms.
The councillor visited the office to address the concerns and guarantee a transparent process.
Applicants are required to complete a form with their name and voter's card details to confirm that they are unemployed and are residents of the constituency.
