Various members of Parliament in the National Assembly have raised a number of issues during the discussion of the Ministry of International Relations and Trade vote of a N$1.37 billion budget.

The MPs who passed the vote pointed out the level of trade, the foreign policy, value addition and appointment of foreign mission representatives.

Prior to the approval of the budget, MPs questioned the operations and functions of the ministry and whether there is room for improvement in terms of establishing trade agreements.
