President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is expected to deliver the highly anticipated State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Wednesday.

The address is expected to outline the government's key priorities, review progress made, and provide a clear roadmap for the year ahead.

In her previous SONA, President Nandi-Ndaitwah introduced seven priority areas aimed at accelerating development and improving livelihoods.

These include agriculture and food security, sports development, youth empowerment and skills development, quality education and training, creative industries, health and social welfare, as well as land, housing and sanitation.

Wednesday's address is expected to build on these priorities, with emphasis on economic growth, job creation, and improved service delivery across the country.

The State of the Nation Address continues to serve as a key platform for the government to account to citizens while setting the national agenda and policy direction.

Members of the public are invited to follow the proceedings live on NBC1 and various other platforms, starting at 14:00.
