The 2026 Miss Namibia and Miss Teen finalists made a special appearance at the official opening of the newly built Die Dam Amphitheatre in Gobabis on Saturday.

The newly opened Die Dam Amphitheatre will form part of the pageant's celebrations by serving as the public viewing venue for the Miss Teen Namibia Final on 31 July and the Miss Namibia Final on 01 August.

This will give those who were unable to secure tickets to the main event an opportunity to experience the excitement and watch the pageants live from Die Dam.

Viewing tickets for the amphitheatre are available at N$200 for adults and N$100 for children.

The opening also featured the first-ever Miss Pre-Teen Gobabis, an initiative introduced by Miss Namibia National Director Beaulah Boois-Beukes through the revival of the Little Sister Programme.

The programme, first introduced in 1995 after Boois-Beukes served as a little sister to Miss Cyprus at the Miss Universe pageant, aims to inspire young girls by giving them the opportunity to be part of the Miss Namibia journey.

Contestants between the ages of 10 and 12 took to the stage with confidence, proudly walking alongside their Miss Teen Namibia and Miss Namibia finalists. The experience gave the young girls valuable peer-to-peer mentorship, the chance to build confidence and lasting friendships.

The winner of Miss Pre-Teen Gobabis is Ngunoduviro Tjerivanga, Rittmilla Hermann is named first runner-up and Deshanty Boostander, second runner-up.
