Namibia’s Ambassador to China, Tonata Itenge-Emvula, presented her Letters of Credence to President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Friday. 

President Nangolo Mbumba says Namibia wants to work closely with China in the development of energy, including green hydrogen, solar, hydro, wind, and nuclear energy.

President Mbumba held a bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, at the Great Hall of the People.

Namibia supports China's 12-point peace plan for Russia and Ukraine as part of the Global Security Initiative concept paper.
