The second National Literary Festival of Namibia concluded on a high note, celebrating Namibian literature and inspiring a culture of reading among children and the youth.
The second edition of Namibia's National Literary Festival, which seeks to cultivate a reading culture, especially among the youth, kicked off in Windhoek today.
It also provides a platform for writers and creators to showcase their work.
The second edition of Namibia's National Literary Festival aims to celebrate local literature and foster a culture of reading.
The festival will be held from the 3rd to the 4th of October at the National Library of Namibia.
In an effort to promote education and preserve Namibia's rich history, the Hifikepunye Pohamba Foundation, in collaboration with the University of Namibia, has presented the recently launched autobiography, "Footprints of Hifikepunye Pohamba," to northern communities.
