Popular Democratic Movement president McHenry Venaani has voiced concern about expensive land and farms in Namibia, saying there is a need to regulate their purchase prices.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Land Reform applauded the farming communities in the Omaheke Region for demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing grassroots agricultural transformation. 

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says the upgraded banknotes and coinage series align with the recently unveiled sixth National Development Plan (NDP6).

Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah launched the upgraded series of banknotes and coinage in circulation, a first since 1993.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has urged leaders at public enterprises to align their strategies, plans, and integrated business plans with the goals of NDP6.

The Ministry of Industries, Mines, and Energy has started to develop a policy on mandatory minimum percentage local equity participation in all new mining ventures.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says the 8th administration has established a strong foundation in its first three months in office.

However, considerable work remains through the implementation of the sixth National Development Plan (NDP6).

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has said Namibia's Sixth National Development Plan (NDP6) prioritises unemployment through industrialisation. 

The Director of the National Planning Commission, Dr. Kaire Mbuende, has explained that Namibia's sixth National Development Plan (NDP6) builds on lessons learnt from NDP5 and includes consultations from Namibia's fourteen regions and 121 constituencies.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah will be launching the 6th National Development Plan (NDP6) on Monday. 

Digital transformation, access to information, and infrastructure development are top priorities of the Strategic Policy Plan of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.
