Thousands of people packed the Barthelemy Boganda Sports Complex on Monday to witness President Faustin-Archange Touadera of the Central African Republic take the oath for a third term after winning the December election.

Namibia marked 35 years of freedom and liberty and saw the swearing-in and inauguration of the 5th President today.

President Nangolo Mbumba, accompanied by President-elect Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, inspected the preparations underway at the Independence Stadium ahead of Friday's inauguration and 35th Independence Day celebrations.
