Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Selma Ashipala-Musavyi briefed Parliament on the political unrest in Madagascar, where the military has taken control following the impeachment of President Andry Rajoelina.
President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah today visited Maputo, Mozambique, where she held bilateral talks with counterpart President Daniel Chapo.
The visit forms part of ongoing regional engagement by the president, aimed at strengthening economic and political cooperation.
Six new Heads of Mission accredited to Namibia presented their letters of credence to President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah today.
The new Heads of Mission are Neil Bradley from the UK and Northern Ireland, Mubarak Bin Nasser Mubarak Alkhalifa from Qatar and Peru's Jose Javier Augusto Shaw.
