A national budget is the government’s financial roadmap. It sets out how much revenue is expected and how public funds will be allocated to key priorities and sectors.

The Governor of Kavango East Region, Hamunyera Hambyuka, says despite the region's challenges, Kavango East is laden with hope and promises. 

In his State of the Region Address at Rundu on Friday, Hambyuka identified 15 priority actions for the 2026/2027 financial year. 

Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare emphasised that the implementation of the seven priorities of the eighth administration must proceed without delay. He stated that all stakeholders, including governors, must remain accountable within the framework of the law.
