Fuel prices will rise effective 1 April 2026 due to surging global oil prices.

The government says it remains committed to ensuring a stable, reliable, and secure supply of essential resources while proactively addressing risks.

Stakeholders in the Kavango East and West regions propose that the Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund increase its funeral grants to N$50,000.

The proposal was made during a consultative meeting held at Rundu by the MVA Fund to amend the Motor Vehicle Accident Act 10 of 2007.
