Caritas Namibia has donated blankets to the Namibian Association of Children with Disabilities at Mariental.

The donation benefited 20 recipients and forms part of the Catholic Church's efforts to support vulnerable members of society.

The Ministry of Health and Social Services has officially inaugurated the newly renovated radiology and pathology units at St Mary's Hospital in Rehoboth.

The N$3,93 million project is expected to improve access to diagnostic services for more than 53,000 residents in the Rehoboth district.

The police in the Hardap Region have destroyed drugs and other contraband worth more than N$462 000, saying the exercise is aimed at ensuring seized drugs never find their way back into communities. The drugs formed part of evidence collected between January and December 2025.

The police have officially expanded their services in the Hardap Region with the opening of a Motor Vehicle Clearance and Conduct Certificate Office in Aranos.

The new facility is expected to spare residents long trips to Mariental and Rehoboth.
