President Nangolo Mbumba has commended the Namibian Exile Kids Association (NEKA) for continuing to be the voice of the children born in exile at the height of the liberation struggle.

The ||Kharas Regional Council has explained the reasons for its decision to relieve three Swapo Party councillors of their council duties.

Dr. Geingob recently underwent a minor aortic stenosis operation in Cape Town, South Africa.

The African National Congress (ANC) has congratulated the Swapo Party on its 63rd anniversary.

The ANC says the Swapo Party's decisive actions to liberate Namibia from colonialism evoked the spirits of South Africans not to give up their quest for democracy.

Former Deputy Mayor of Keetmanshoop and councillor of the Landless People's Movement', Charlcyta Cooper has resigned from the party.

Cooper said she will hand over her resignation letter to the LPM.
