Okakarara Constituency Councillor Ramana Mutjavikua has called on the government through the Roads Authority to fast-track phase two of tarring the Okakarara-Okondjatu road.

In the Oshikoto Region, Works and Transport Minister Veikko Nekundi has described the demolition of community structures by the Roads Authority (RA) along the Engoyi-Omuntele road as never approved and done without consulting his office.

The Roads Authority (RA) has confirmed that the permanent two-lane bypass between Rehoboth and Windhoek is expected to be completed by the end of this month. 

The construction of the two-lane bypass will cost approximately N$13 million.
