Residents of Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West Region gathered over the weekend to clean up Namibia’s youngest town.

Nkurenkuru is growing day by day, and with growth comes a whole list of challenges, such as waste management, which, if not handled properly, can lead to pollution.

Otjiwarongo residents join Clean-Up Campaign

Residents of Otjiwarongo joined in on the weekend's National Clean Up Campaign.

The campaign kicked off at the park, which over the years has become a dumpsite.

Volunteers took part and targeted four spots, including the area next to the hospital led by the Robert Youth Foundation.
