Minister of Information and Communication Technology Emma Theofelus has issued a warning about the increasing threat of cyber scams and AI-driven deception in Namibia.

In response to rising flood risks, the Cabinet has issued directives to various ministries and regional councils aimed at managing the situation and ensuring public safety.

As Africa embraces digital transformation, postal operators have been urged to focus on strengthening the postal industry through e-commerce and digital trade.

They, too, need to address challenges such as logistical issues, payment systems and ensuring the right regulatory frameworks are in place.
