A 16-year-old girl has allegedly been raped at Omaruru by a taxi driver after a night out drinking.
The incident took place in the early hours of Friday morning.
According to the weekend police report that the girl went out drinking with her aunt, and later asked her aunt to be taken home.
A 45-year-old woman was raped and brutally murdered in Tsumkwe at Otjozondjupa Region.
This was confirmed by Otjozondjupa Regional Community Liaison officer, Inspector Maureen Mbeha today.
According to Mbeha, the deceased has been identified as /Koce /Ukxa.
Since the end of last week, four rapes have been reported in three days.
