The body of a 35-year-old woman was found in a riverbed in Katutura this morning.

The deceased was identified by a relative as Delysia ||Garoës.

Residents along Independence Avenue in Windhoek's Katutura residential area have raised concerns over continuous water wastage, as city sprinklers have been left running for nearly two weeks.

The John Pandeni Constituency office in the |Khomas Region has donated school uniforms to over 30 needy learners at A. Shipena Secondary School in Katutura.

The One Economy Foundation is looking at expanding services and programmes offered at its Katutura-based Be Free Youth Campus.

Its Executive Chairperson, Monica Geingos, says the decision is informed by the growing needs of young people across Namibia.
