South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa has spoken against vigilantism that has become the order of the day in the country.

Addressing the nation last night, Ramaphosa warned against infiltrators who want South Africans to turn against those who were not born in the country.

Various traditional and political leaders have described the late leader of Hai-||Om San Traditional Authority, Gaob David ||Khamuxab as a leader who cared for his people and who united the Hai-||Om community.

Sacky Kathindi, the Oshikoto Regional Governor, described ||Khamuxab as a visionary leader.

The Chairperson of the Nama Festival, Dirk ǂEigub, has described the Nama anthem as a powerful symbol of unity and cultural pride among the Nama people. 

The anthem was launched during the Nama festival's official opening on Friday.

Vice-President Lucia Witbooi has emphasised the need for unity, justice, peace, equality, and shared prosperity.

She made these remarks during the commemoration of Genocide Remembrance Day at Eenhana, located in the Ohangwena Region.

The Speaker of the National Assembly encouraged Namibians to unite and reflect on their history and its impact on society in remembrance of Genocide Day.

Saraa Kuugongelwa-Amadhila made the call during her message of genocide remembrance at the National Assembly.

The Miss Namibia top 10 finalists embarked on a cultural excursion through the Omaheke Region, an experience that not only introduced them to the rich traditions of the region but also brought communities together in celebration of culture and unity.

Namibia needs stronger unity, moral renewal and collective action to confront growing social challenges.

This call echoed strongly during the National Prayer Breakfast held in Windhoek on Friday, themed "Thanksgiving, Peace, Transformation". 

The annual Nama festival returns to Keetmanshoop with a focus on cultural preservation and unity. 
The 7th edition of the festival is scheduled for the 28th to 30th of this month.

Vice President Lucia Witbooi has urged Namibians to stand united against all forms of divisiveness and preserve the peace for which the fallen heroes gave their lives.

She made these remarks at the Cassinga Commemoration held in Gibeon at the Swapo Party Office on Monday.

Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare praised the Lüderitz community—the Buchters—for their resilience and unity during the opening of the 19th annual Lüderitz Crayfish Festival. He emphasised that development and innovation flourish when communities support their leaders despite differences.
