Russian mining giant Uranium One Group has broken its silence on allegations raised by pressure groups through various platforms.

The US Ambassador to Namibia, Randy Berry has dismissed claims that the recent high-level visits by US officials are aimed at countering the growing influence of China and Russia on the African continent.

President Hage Geingob says Namibia and several other African countries remain neutral in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict and will continue to call for de-escalation.

Russia says it will supply more than 500 thousand metric tons of grain to all affected countries, including those in Africa, for free.
