The Minister of Education, Arts, and Culture, Anna Nghipondoka, urged the newly appointed board members to prioritise transparency and foster collaborative efforts for the promising future of NAMCOL.

The Namibian College of Open Learning provides an opportunity for school learners to familiarise themselves with deeper and more detailed information on the types of careers they are interested in.

The Deputy Governor of the Bank of Namibia, Ebson Uanguta says recent graduates are entering a world of constant change and uncertainty, and they need to swiftly succeed in that environment. 

Uanguta was addressing Namibian College of Open Learning graduates in Windhoek. 

Hard work pays off for NAMCOL's top performers, as the parastatal awarded 40 top achievers in the Senior Secondary Certificate last year who walked
away with more than N$50,000 in cash prizes.

The Namibia College of Open Learning (NAMCOL) says it can admit more learners who failed to qualify for tertiary institutions with additional support from the government.

The education system is plagued by a lot of problems that make it impossible for teachers to deliver.

This was said by National African Students Association President Paulus Vihemba.
